Hey Guys.
So sometime before the end of last year, I began to really contemplate on some observations I had made. I discovered that the name of a thing/person really does matter; especially when named prophetically. Will give some instances with 3 ministries that were the focus of my contemplations.
Streams of Joy International; the Conveners of NSPPD (New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations).
From the name, you can tell its really been a new season for this ministry. What started out as a prayer platform to connect and keep people fired up during the COVID epidemic in the year 2020, is now a global fire altar with people from all walks of life and astounding signs & wonders. Personally, I had heard about this platform from a few friends of mine but I eventually connected to a live stream some time before the end of that year. In the year 2021, I was also able to join in a few times especially during the beginning of the year. My attention really began to be stirred though towards the end of 2022 when a friend shared her testimony with me; shortly after that I decided to connect by faith and also experienced a testimony of my own; which came more like a direction. Sometime in December of same year, I began to listen to the testimonies – as in really listen – and what I heard was really mind blowing and awe-inspiring; such miraculous wonders to me. The wave of the miraculous was blowing across world over and the Lord was definitely making a name for Himself without reservations. Praying along on the platform became part of my weekday routine; even though one of my hesitations to join prior to this time was that it would interfere with my personal devotion but as they say, ‘where there is a will, there is a way,’ so I found a way (smiles). Even though the prayers and declarations were so powerful, there was something the testimonies did deep within my spirit – it built up such great faith in me that I believed that truly, there was not a thing God could not do. It’s not like I didn’t have faith before, I did. But some things happen and one’s faith begins to weaken even without their knowledge. Some say they trust God, but in reality, their hearts are under attack with the arrow(s) of doubt. Each testimony section cemented my faith until January/February 2023 when I experienced more daring testimonies that sounded too good to be true, which has been the trend of the testimonies on this prayer altar. Truly ba, ‘If there is a man to pray, there is a God who answers prayers.’
The interesting thing is that this Ministry has been around years before the year 2020, but in a year that literally shook the entire world and brought it to its knees, Jesus decided to announce them to this same world. Of a truth, Jesus bu Eze (Jesus is Lord) and He rules over the affairs of men.
The faith statement of NSPPDians (members of the prayer platform) is, ‘What God cannot do, does not exist,’ little wonder the tremendous miraculous realities that has become their daily experience, God has in deed proven beyond reasonable doubt that what He cannot do, truly does not exist. I am by God’s grace and divine orchestration, a medical personnel and on this platform, I have seen God prove that science is an invention, while the supernatural is the control. If you don’t get what I just said, then I pray the Lord gives you understanding.
Some of the miracles which were wrought on the platform are: strange addictions such as drinking palm oil and chewing ice block (in place of a proper meal) broken; blind eyes opened, the dead jerking back to life (became a daily/weekly occurrence) what was so rare before; single and multiple pregnancies and deliveries after years of barrenness and for some, following several miscarriages and failed IVFs, surrogacies, IUIs; various cancers reversed; autism and slow development in children reversed; medical and demonic bond of insanities broken; genotype changed; hepatitis reversed; hyperthyroidism, retinopathies, nephropathies, cardiopathies, neuropathies – all reversed. There were also miracle jobs, miracle promotions (sometimes double promotion within a short time) after years of stagnation; kidnapped people returned back to safety, miracle visa approvals, favours, divine connection to life partners (for some even when it seemed like all hope was lost), restoration of relations, etc….
Above all, God’s name is being glorified and people are taking their relationship with God more seriously; they have become aware that God truly is our Good, Good Father and His heart beats for us.
He is touched with the feelings of our infirmities. Hebrews 4:15 (KJV) “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
He is close to the broken hearted. Psalms 34:18 (NIV) “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
He desires a relationship with us.
As the man in the Bible, when we cry out to the Lord, He hears and delivers us from all our troubles. Psalms 34:6 (KJV) “This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.”
A few other things that struck me about this platform are;
• The Accuracy of the Word of Prophecy. When the testimonies are being shared and the particular prayer/prophecy is replayed, the accuracy in the prophetic word spoken by the Man of God is so evident. It truly takes a man who is spiritually sensitive to discern with such accuracy and precision. Some of what he says, he doesn’t even know what the disease conditions represent or that they even exist.
• The dogged diligence, commitment and passion of the Convener and his crew. I used to think I loved to pray until I heard them, then I knew what intercessory prayer meant – the heart, depth and fervency in the spirit. It’s not one bit easy what they do, I can’t even begin to imagine the behind the scene preparations. I can only pray they continue to tap into (and maximise) the grace and strength God has provided for such great work.
• That where a man is from doesn’t have a thing to do with what God can do with and through him. For those who know the family background of Pastor Jerry, one is almost tempted to ask like was asked of Jesus of Nazareth, ‘Can anything good come out of a person with such background?’ But thanks be to God who considers the heart and not the looks; God who picks a man from the dungeon and places him on the throne; God who calls, justifies and glorifies by His tender mercies. Indeed, praise be to God, who makes everything work out for our good – eventually.

Thankfully, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV) “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
