My decision saved me from impending trouble even though I had to give up some excesses. I didn’t mind because I so treasure my peace of mind above the material things I might gain at its expense.
Hey, are you at crossroads in the journey of decision making? Then it’s scarcely the time to run about seeking counsel from every other person except the One who holds the whole world in His hands. The One who knows the end even from the beginning. The Starter and Conclusion of our faith.
Call on Him with a heart willing to obey; for you are not allowed to eat the good of the land if you are unwilling and disobedient.
Most times, the easiest solution isn’t always the right one; and the right solution isn’t always the easiest. You just have to trust God.
For all the times I have veered off on my own like Jonah, doing what I know was not God’s Will for me, I have always ended up in the belly of the fish; each and every time! Thankfully, for each and every one of those times, He was willing to command the fish to let me out. But then, we shall not continue in sin that grace might abound. God forbid!
The Word of God in James 4:17 says that ‘He that knows the right thing to do and does not do it, commits sin.’ (Paraphrased)
I am talking to myself as much as I am talking to you all.
God will keep helping us.
If at the end of the day all you have is God, then you have more than enough.
