That the person who was supposed to protect me, let me take the fall for something he did and that he wasn’t even remorseful about it. Also, that just because I was the extroverted and usually daring one, my mum guessed all along (even though wrongly) that it was me, just because! It didn’t even occur to her that it just might be her little cutie. We packed everything back and faced our different sides of the bed; left with our individual thoughts and after some time, we were both fast asleep. From that day till date, I am wary of ‘quiet people.’ People who claim not to talk but harvest everything in their mind. The day they decide to do you eh, you go hear am! It’s been over two decades but I still remember the incidence once in a while and each time I ask him why he did that, he always goes, ’’I don’t know what you are talking about.’’ Lol….
Can you guys just imagine? I hope to find my answer someday though. Kids…Memories…Silly things we did while growing up…they are plenty. I wouldn’t give up my brother for any earthly thing though, because I love him so much. We had so much fun together, so much! I think now he overcompensates for his shortcoming that day; how he’s always looking out for me and ensuring that I am okay, it’s cool. He is no longer quiet though, no. He is now very
outspoken and full of opinions. Hahaha…. Who says people don’t change? This Scripture does something good to my heart and I love it; ‘’Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.” (Prov 22:15, KJV) I agree! If at the end of the day all you have is God, then you have more than enough.

There is definitely foolishness in a child’s heart
Yes o, and with the rod of correction, we shall drive it far away.
